CAMP DIRECTOR/HEAD COACH: Jim Graham
Jim has an extensive and varied background in volleyball. His resume includes
playing (both indoors and on the beaches of Southern California), coaching,
officiating and promoting and directing volleyball tournaments. He was a member
of the 1964 Collegiate National Championship Santa Monica College team; a
USA
Volleyball National referee; Director of Officials for the IVA, the first professional
volleyball league in the United States from 1975 to 1981; tournament director
for the City of Hermosa Beach as well as for Event Concepts (forerunner to
the Association of Volleyball Professionals - AVP) between 1978 and 1984 and
has competed at the USA Volleyball National Championships since
the
mid-60's
earning "All American" recognition in 1987. Graham founded
and directs the Four Corners Volleyball Club for girls 11 to 18 in Southwest
Colorado. He also officiates AVP Tournaments during the summer months throughout
the US when not directing Durango Camps Youth Camps, Adult Workshops and Team
Clinics.
